I feel like all normal people are just trying to get on with their lives, run their businesses, enjoy the spring while the couple of big ego men are creating this shit show for all of us. As we just came out of covid and the industry really is not in the best place, now this is dropping on us all of like a bomb... 

If you are wondering and generally not knowing how could that affect you- whether you are here in the EU or in the US or anywhere else, here are my thoughts and fears.

Firstly, half of our fabrics come from US companies but are manufactured in Asia and as manufacturers from the EU we already pay such a premium price! Now, the prices of Ecopak and Ultra are going to probably double! Most of our trim comes from Europe but some bits come form the US, again, manufactured in Asia- same story, prices will go up!

Bikes- it is not a big surprise that Taiwan is a huge manufacturer of steel, aluminium and carbon frames! same China - well that's going to seriously impact US customers and ourselves too! 

Finally- raw material- well there is not enough of it in the US and we all enjoy nice components from for example Paul and that is just one small company that has already announced there is not enough aluminium in the US...
