DITW for our PLANET
OUR APPROACH
Working in the industry for many years, we set up DITW with the aim to create sustainable products, using local manufacturers and ethical fabrics. We feel this aim is slowly being fulfilled and we can proudly say every step we take in production of our bags is focused on sustainability and our environment.
LOCALLY SOURCED TRIM
From day 1 we said we will try as much as it is possible to only use trim which we can source from around (Poland ) or neighbouring countries. 95% of everything we use for production comes from the EU and 85% of that is manufactured in Poland. From thread which is produced in Lodz through clasps to our zips ( made in Krakow) we use and support local manufacturers. Products sourced from the EU are: Fixplus straps and few other specialised products which we source from Czech Republic .
FABRICS
We are super proud to say Ecopak and Ultra are both 100% recycled fabrics! 1m equals 20 recycled plastic bottles- that's quite something! Not only they perform and look amazing but also non of it comes from virigin plastics and it can all be entirely recycled.
PRODUCTION AND DESIGN
Last but not least, we make every single bag in house!
We are also behind pretty much everything that represents our brand. From photography through marketing, customer emials, art work we send you to website, social media content, press contacts... and invoices :). We are two people orchestra and DITW is really who we are and what we stand for.
